Administration
The Health and Communtiy Services Sectors are a large employer of typical adminstrative roles, with over approximately 20 000 people nationally engaged as administrators and clerks in these sectors. Job prospects are moderate, with forecast 3.5% jobs growth over the next five years.
The Health Training Solutions initiative offers the Certificate III in Health Support Services as an experienced level qualification in the career framework and also as a multipurpose qualification for all health support employees who may specialise in later job roles.
The initiative also offers the Certificate III in Health Administration qualification specifically for administrative personnel in the health and community services sector.
The Certificate III qualifications have 15 units to complete the full qualification, depending on the stream selected, and topics covered can include:

► Medical Accounts
► Cultural Diversity

All topics are also available as stand alone modules for private participants. A range of alternative electives are also available for participants interested in other support streams in hospital, aged care and community care settings.
The Certificate III in Health Support Services program is available in some states and territories through the Australian Apprenticeships program for eligible participants, providing support for employers whose eligible employees undertake the programs.
